ASIC miner profitability calculator

Bitcoin mining calculator

Pick an ASIC miner or enter its hashrate and power, set your electricity or hosting rate, and see what it earns a day, a month and a year at today's coin price and difficulty. Works for Bitcoin and other ASIC algorithms such as Litecoin and Kaspa.

How the calculator works

Revenue is your machine's share of the network: its hashrate divided by the network's, times the coins the network mines a day, times the coin price. For Bitcoin that comes to $0.0321 per TH/s per day right now, the figure pools call the hashprice.

Cost is the power the machine draws, in kW, times 24 hours times your electricity or hosting rate. Efficiency (J/TH) is what keeps it low: a 17.5 J/TH machine burns 0.42 kWh per TH/s a day.

Profit is revenue minus cost, before pool fees and downtime. Add the machine's price to see how long its revenue, before hosting, takes to repay it at today's figures.

A worked example at the UAE hosting rate

Bitcoin price and difficulty as read at 10:55 GST, at the standard 6.0¢/kWh hosting rate, 100% uptime, before pool fees.

MachineRevenue a dayPower at 6.0¢Net at 6.0¢
Antminer S19 95 TH/s$3.05$4.68—
Antminer S21 200 TH/s$6.41$5.04$1.37
Antminer S21 Pro 234 TH/s$7.50$5.05$2.45
Antminer S23 Hyd 580 TH/s$18.60$7.93$10.66

Efficiency decides how much of the revenue is left after power. Read is Bitcoin mining profitable in 2026? or how long it takes to mine one bitcoin.

Questions

How is Bitcoin mining profitability calculated?
Revenue is your share of the network's hashrate times the coins the network mines a day times the coin price. Cost is the machine's power in kW × 24 × your electricity or hosting rate. Profit is revenue minus cost, before pool fees and downtime.
What hosting rate should I enter?
The rate you would pay per kWh. Segments hosts a machine you own in the UAE at 6.0¢/kWh, covering power, cooling, monitoring, cleaning and routine maintenance; the calculator opens on 6.0¢. Cloud mining on our machines is 6.8¢/kWh with insurance and repairs included.
Does the calculator include the 2028 halving?
No: it shows today's earnings at today's coin price and difficulty, with no assumption about what comes later.
Can I calculate profitability for algorithms other than SHA-256?
Yes. The calculator supports major ASIC algorithms including SHA-256, Scrypt, KHeavyHash, Blake3, X11, Equihash and Etchash.
Why does my pool pay a little less than the estimate?
Pools charge a fee, machines are never up 100% of the time, and difficulty changes every two weeks. Treat the result as an estimate for today, not a forecast.
